For the first monograph on fashion designer Prabal Gurung [Prabal Gurung: Style and Beauty with a Bite], we were commissioned to capture the sartorial narratives from the designer’s prolific career. We used individual and grouped vignettes beneath dramatic overhead lighting to explore the garments’ complex details and techniques. The result was a striking photographic archive that represented the designer’s evolution and served as a unified, visual point of reference throughout the publication.
